About Hawke's Bay Incorporated's Tourism Marketing Department

Hawke’s Bay Incorporated's Tourism Marketing Department is responsible for being the Regional Tourism Organisation. Our role is to promote the region as a visitor destination in the domestic and international marketplaces.

A record number of visitors has made tourism a top-10 industry in Hawke's Bay and the region is fast becoming New Zealand’s premier food, wine and lifestyle destination. Located on the east coast of the North Island, the region offers diversity, a fabulous climate and exciting experiences.

The latest tourism figures estimate total visitors to Hawke's Bay has exceeded one million per year. These visitors spend over $300 million per annum mostly on accommodation and food.
