The Partnership
In December 2002 Hawke's Bay Wine Country Tourism Association formally signed a partnership with Hawke's Bay Tourism so that the private sector and public sector tourism organisations could pool resources for a more effective result.

Hawke's Bay Tourism later merged with Hawke's Bay Economic Development to form Hawke's Bay Incorporated - the region's tourism and economic development organisation.
