HB Annual Regional Tourism Conference
The annual regional tourism conference is organised by HBWCTA and has now run very successfully for 2 years.
Delegates at the 2007 conference on 20 September heard from Tourism NZ CEO George Hickton, AA Tourism GM, Peter Blackwell, Destination Lake Taupo's Event guru Warwick Hall, Carol Maxwell from Landcare Research, and Her Business Networker of 2004 Debra Bell. Workshops were run by Graham Rouse, ASB's Event Sponsorship Manager, Craig Wilson, director of Quality Tourism Developments and Damon Harvey of Attn! marketing pr.
2006 delegates heard from MInister of Tourism Damien O'Connor, Don Gunn of Destination Roturua and Vaughan Schwass of Les Mills International.

You will learn some branding basics and how to use the Wine Country brand alongside your own. Excellent feedback from participants on first courses held in April/May 07.
