Te Mata Estate's John Buck leads a silent auction which includes a bottle of 1985 Dom Perignon, Sileni Estate's Culinary Classes, and other wine related packages. An evening not to be missed and another chance to give generously to Cranford Hospice.

Each year skilled winemakers craft unique lots exclusively for the Midlands Hawke's Bay Charity Wine Auction. These fine Hawke's Bay wines imbued with the generosity and spirit of their creators reflect the success of the event which over the past fifteen years has raised almost two million dollars for Hawkes Bay's Cranford Hospice.
The graciously renovated Hawkes Bay Opera House provides the perfect backdrop to such an auspicious event. It is here on June 1st 2008 that wine, food, art and good company, guided by the enigmatic Willy de Wit, will combine to create an exciting day benefiting Cranford Hospice, one of New Zealands leading palliative care facilities.
This year we welcome back guest auctioneer Andrew Caillard MW from Australia's Langtons Fine Wine Auctions. "This important event not only raises much needed funds for Cranford Hospice but also shows off the sheer diversity and quality of Hawkes Bay wines, not to mention the generosity of all those involved."
