This beautiful, faithfully restored Edwardian Art Deco hotel is the home to 18 luxurious suites & rooms, the multi award winning “Chambers” fine dining and seafood restaurant and the quaint “Churchill’s Champagne & Snug Bar”. Centrally located in Napier’s Art Deco precinct, close to the vineyards & all of the city’s attractions, this is truly an unforgettable experience.
With a selection of suites from the two bedroom, two bathroom regal suite with huge balconies, a large lounge and 6 person mahogany dining table, fire-place, and drinks cabinet etc, to suites with spas or simply beautifully appointed super-kings, kings, queens or twin-bedded ensuite rooms, many with therapeutic spa baths, the choice is yours.

Chambers Restaurant – named the ‘best in town’ by Conde Nast Traveler magazine. As with the wine list, the food represents the very best available in a region lauded for its fresh produce and outstanding seafood. The chef’s signature dish, Chambers Seafood Special, has become a bit of a local legend.
“Churchill’s Champagne & Snug Bar” has a character and charm second to none. A wonderful selection of cocktails & Champagne in one room, beers and single malt whiskeys in another, all served with a friendly smile in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. This beautiful boutique bar is one people simply don’t want to leave.
Hotel guests also have the opportunity to explore the Hawke’s Bay Wine Country region and experience the Fruit Bowl of New Zealand with Royalty Wine Tours, relaxing in the Queen’s Royal Stretch Daimler.
The County Hotel has also developed a reputation for its excellent conference facilities and private function rooms, catering for 12 to 50 people.
